He was born July 13, 1941, in Beetown Township, the son of Bernard and Mary (Kirschbaum) Martin. Roger has passed from this life to the next on December 17, 2020 after a battle with brain cancer. His marriage to Carolyn Horton took place in 1959. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Martin (Pikeville, Kentucky), born in Topmost, Kentucky, who passed away on October 29, 2019, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. They were married for 55 years, raising two children and living in Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska, and Punta Gorda and Lake Suzy, Florida. Roger will be deeply missed by his children, Becky (Dave) Holzem, Stacy (Ted) Kronschnabel and Nick (Bobbie) Martin; grandchildren, Justin Holzem, Rachel Holzem, T.J. Kronschnabel, Genevieve Kronschnabel, Elizabeth Kronschnabel, Emma Martin and Aiden Martin; great grandchild, Azaleah Bosch; brother-in-law, John Setzer; and many other family and friends. Age 68.
